Dan Buttrey Director of Data Acquisition

Dan Buttrey joined Catalist in 2014, and currently serves as the Director of Data Acquisition after spending time in Catalist's Analytics and Tech departments. His portfolio includes managing the acquisition of data from multiple government and commercial sources used in Catalist's national voter file, as well as overseeing the processing of state voter file and absentee/early vote data.  

Prior to joining Catalist, Dan spent a decade managing data-driven field programs across the country for political campaigns and progressive organizations. This included serving as a Deputy Field Director on Claire McCaskill's first Senate campaign in 2006, Field Director for Michael Bennet's first re-election campaign in 2010, and as Coordinated Campaign Director for the Arizona Democratic Party in 2012.
